The use of recycled material (decrease of primary production) is one further step to make plastic packaging more attractive compared to traditional packaging materials. Compared to alternative packaging less fossil resources are used to obtain plastic granules. A weight optimization of packaging products does reduce the energy consumption during the product’s utilization and production process.
